It is a rare sunny and warm Spring day here in WA state, and the mts are calling, so I'll keep this brief.

I don't know how insane V. Putin is, but it's pretty much understood that he is a decidedly evil character. I've not heard of him being described as stupid, and he has to know all Hell would reign down upon his head if he tries to pull off the unthinkable, so let's assume he's (eventually) open to negotiations.

One way or another, virtually all wars end up going through the process of negotiation, and this will happen. I just hope the main parties give all of us a chance to hear what cooler heads have to say. The women and children of Ukraine don't need people like Biden and Putin and yes, even Zelensky, (I blame them all) and their blustering egos causing more death and destruction.

Differences could have been worked out in a more democratic manner if given the chance, and this is no doubt one of many reasons partisans push for a world court.

War always works out best for those who ignore the consequences to others.

There is a chance this could be settled peacefully, but the longer this conflict goes on the further away we get from a peaceful solution.

But you already know that.
