Personally, I don't believe AOL does that much of it's own content anymore. Seems like more and more of the links you see go to a web site, and not somewhere else on AOL. Although some of the linked sites may be fee-based if you weren't an AOL member. Or you could find a similar/better site elsewhere for free on the net.

Was just on AOL. They are also going to raise the annual plan also; to $19.95/month, prepaid of course. Will be interesting to see if you'll still be able to get the lower price if you join the annual plan before March 31st. Oh, and I already saw one poster on AOL's Motley Fool boards indicate he was going to kill his AOL account and go elsewhere (it was in a biotech company thread).

You know, it almost sounds like this is becoming Cable redux. Basic package for a certain price, premium channels are extra. And I just know everyone likes seeing their cable bills go up. Just food for thought.
