I started following NKTR ages ago when they worked on an inhalable form of insulin.

IIRC, it went nowhere, as it apparently led to an increase in anti-insulin antibodies, as well as an increase in lung cancer amongst smokers, and was hard to dose in a controllable fashion.

After all, if someone has a stuffy nose due to hay fever (allergies) or the common cold, it will be difficult to get the same dose into your lungs every time.

I stopped following them after that little mishap.
