Maybe he believes in self determination. All of the ethnic Russians in Crimea voted to leave Ukraine. It was overwhelming. After Obama orchestrated the Madan coup, they did not want to be governed by Nazis.

Considering that Crimea was invaded and occupied by Russia in 2014, what did Obama do to push back against PooTin?

Did Obama tell PooTin to "knock it off," just like he did during Russia's "meddling" in the 2016 election?
