re: " largest institutional investor" whose ID is it. I'm new to QCOM, and looking for pointers. I didn't start buying QCOM until 12/30/97, but am enjoying the ride. Bought at 53, tripled down at 48, but by writing calls before SuperBowl, and buying protective puts last week, then covering both the calls and puts at the bottom of dooms day, then writing new calls after the bounce that same day, I'm in long with a nut of 41 3/4. Short term TA indicators look negative, but since I wrote Mar 50 calls at 3 1/2 it doesn't matter if strong support holds up at 45. (The puts tripled in one day -- dumb luck is better than no luck.)
