TJ, one more think to something I learned only few years ago - even ethnic Jews from what is now Iran are divided in their approach to the various scriptures. Same I know from home my mother about my grand grand father who was supposedly a well recognized and respected theological figure in what is now Carpathians Ukraine and wrote several theological related books - that the academic mentioned before from Trieste, Italy reminded me. So therefore it is a dead end as they believe in a total destruction of the world to enable the "Twelver" to return.
