TJ, one more think to something I learned only few years ago - even ethnic Jews from what is now Iran are divided in their approach to the various scriptures. Same I know from home my mother about my grand grand father who was supposedly a well recognized and respected theological figure in what is now Carpathians Ukraine and wrote several theological related books - that the academic mentioned before from Trieste, Italy reminded me.

My mother since I remember was very open minded anti racial person, she had no grudge against the German nation because of WWII to the contrary to prove the NAZI wrong my mother language is German and went to German school. But regarding Russia different approach and guarded. She did not live to witness my efforts to initiate a meaningful business in Irkutsk Oblast and toward Ukraine in 2007 was indifferent.

As per my personal opinion the State of Israel legislated laws that completely ignore or dismiss the laws written in the set of books I mention in my previous post.

What you do is what matters and not what you say - talk is cheap.

At present time the division is not at such critical point as to lead to disintegration of the state or stand opposed to relation too the countries you mention (except some very ultra-nationalist fringe movements).

Iran has its own theological ideology and Empire aspiration since ancient times, and at present they believe in the "Twelver" ( en.wikipedia.org )
Seven pillars of Isma'ilism Walayah Tawhid Salah Zakat Sawm Hajj Jihad

Theology of Twelvers

Principles Tawhid Is Prophecy Imamah Resurrection
Practices Salah Sawm Zakat Hajj Khums Jihad Commanding what is just Forbidding what is evil Tawalli Tabarri

All of those actually call for the destruction of anyone that is not within their interpretation of Islam and especially Christians and Jews. So therefore it is a dead end as they believe in a total destruction of the world to enable the "Twelver" to return.

Saudi Arabia is much less complicated and they are now transforming in their Wahhabism ( en.wikipedia.org ) or ( en.wikipedia.org ) they are much more advanced and their international University of KAUST is top notch ( kaust.edu.sa ) was invited there as an US citizen (the Israeli citizenship posed a problem which I hope will be resolved in 2-3 years). Anticipate a very dynamic cooperation similar to that of UAE and Israel

Until the invasion of Ukraine the relationships where friendly and as mentioned before there was cooperation especially with Ukraine see slideshare.net and slideshare.net - and slideshare.net

As to Turkey they do have investments in Israel in JV their aspiration of their leader generates some friction but high ranking officials just visited Ankara (Israel's President)

As to the State of Israel - if they will not overcome the culture of bribes and rub my back I will rub yours - the country as in antiquity will divide or even some outside force will induce dissolution IMHO.
