Woke up to tend to portfolio at the margin and did so

Scanned headlines and apparently …

- Poland sending tanks to Ukraine
- Russia is only accepting rouble from Poland for gas starting Wednesday (today)
- Entire Polish society thus volunteered for Ukraine front
- Canada shall use seized sanctioned-Russian assets for and as compensation to Ukrainians
- For that (bit of) Canada taking-advantage the global monies (further) de-monied
- Everyone to the Ukraine frontline
- Teams USA / Nato rushing Team Russia to Ukraine quagmire
- Fractal scale-up, all rushing and rushed to the Ukraine quagmire
- More words exchanged about nuclear weapons use

Am guessing that paper war efforts might have difficulty engaging with real stuff war efforts, and the allocation of gains and losses uneven, especially as the aggregated efforts can be interpreted as existential and therefore entail further escalations to up the uneven stakes.

Under the circumstances

- Russia can surrender, and Putin gone, replaced by parties not-at-all-known

- Russia can make conditions in Ukraine not amenable to Polish tanks relabeled Ukrainian

- Russia can followed up no-export of energy to Poland w/ export of energy packaged differently, and call / raise stakes at stake

In the meantime, no longer have to worry about trade wars and such, as natural demand hiccup cuts import even as price rises, net net unknown but certainly involving less productive work, for do not have to make things that people are not inclined to buy, a carbon footprint win

I must have missed some vectors and 2nd order effects. They shall become apparent perhaps as early as the coming week.

Just as well global tourism got pre-hit by Covid. No travel cancellations necessary.
