Yes, this tends to work out better than just having a mother ot a father. On average.
I would still be interested to see what a child is like with, say, two daddies. If one's the "housewife", I don't see a serious problem. but that's my subjective opinion.
My real gripe with the WA situation isn't about the best way to raise kids. I used the word "bigotry" before, and I admit it's strong language. That's because I can't shake the idea that the WA legislature carries an implied subtext that gay unions are somehow bad or less than traditional marriages. This is where I put up a fuss, because I feel that's an unfair prejudgment.

Little One is doing great! Digestive efficiency is still a chancy thing though. I breed, therefore I wipe :-)
