The sooner message might be today, or Victory Day in honour of the great victory over Germany. The Germans don't think they are just doing the same old stuff, but they are. So is Boris = Charge of the Light Brigade into Crimea [which killed one of my great great grandfathers - on the English side]
Where will the first nuclear explosion happen and how big will it be and will there be 1, 2 or 3? Spread over what regions? One for Aotearoa-Zimbabwe since Jaciinda has declared war on Russia, to show how far they can reach [say to remove the Devonport naval base and most of the warships in one go], one on a USA warship to compensate for the sunk Russian warship, one in Germany to give them a hint of where things are going and to stop Barbarossa now, and maybe a bonus for Boris [Eurotunnel? Air force base? Naval base?]. Oh and Scott Morrison and co will need one too. Aukus and all that. Or just one in Ukraine as USA expects?
What will USA/NATO do in response? Continue scaling up or call a truce to come to a settlement? Scaling up should be interesting, to say the least. A USA mainland explosion would be needed in the second round to seriously up close and personal give the message. Say, for example, oh heck, what a target-rich environment the USA provides ... Andrews Air Force base, Camp Pendleton, San Diego warships, Pearl Harbour [maybe that's not so good coz of Japanese pre-emptive attack]. I guess the first rounds or three would be military targets as messages. Population and industrial targets would be a long way into MAD. But could happen in minutes, hours or days.
BTW, I wonder how Greta and the Climate Emergency are getting on. The Climate Emergency is on the back burner, so to speak.

I recommend my very simple, very fast, very sensible, scones, clotted cream, strawberry jam and nice cup of tea solution, followed by rounds of golf in Crimea = much better than making history with the first two or three or more sided nuclear war, and a global population reduction by 95% or 98%. It's fascinating, that right here in SI, there are plenty like "sense" who prefer Armageddon. I guess it makes sense to them. They pull out cliches, slogans, linguistic logic, word-thinking and convince themselves they are thinking straight because they can create grammatical sentences that match their limbic feelings. So far, their ideologies and thinking have led to carnage, so they are not doing very well and their clever "thinking" is going badly.
Some people use words to persuade or deceive others, and themselves. Others use words to describe reality as they see it and to communicate that reality. I had a colleague 40 years ago who I am sure felt weird if he simply told the truth - everything had to have an angle, manipulation, deceit, self-dealing process. Words were a way to dishonestly manipulate others rather than a way to describe reality.
They use a word such as "appeasement" and think they've made an argument because "Peace in our Time" slogan. They don't see that appeasement of USA is the actual issue and DementiaJoe10%, Lindsay Graham and co-conspirator gangsters are the problem. Appeasing them has led to them swaggering around the world like Bolton and PNAC demanding appeasement wherever they go, or else. Solomon Islands is now being threatened and appeasement is expected. So far, Solomon Islands says stick it.
