I face facts. The Republicans have been helping the autocrats take over the country since at least Hoover.

And in the process, income inequality keeps getting worse, and the people getting poorer and we are losing our freedom.

That takes priority over any good a criminal like Nixon ever did.

And it is funny you pick him to defend as he was among the worst of the worst.

We are on the edge of losing our freedom because people like you never seem to understand what the objective has been for the Republican party for over 100 years according to Krugman.

The situation has now gotten critical because the Republicans managed to fool too many people.

But not me.

I have watched those bastards beat the shit our this countries rule of law and the people and stolen the people wealth not unlike Putin, my entire life..

The Republicans are essentially a kleptocracy.

<,

You just can't stand the fact that R's actually do some good things, can you?

It was the northeast, liberal republicans who voted for civil rights, the EPA, as well as big government projects and abortion rights. The current Republican Party threw all of those folks out, and their descendants are independents and moderate democrats. In fact, Lincoln would most likely be a moderate Democrat today.

Political labels were turned upside down when Nixon invited the Dixiecrats into the party.
