And we do have Trumper governors. So these zealots refer someone they think committed fraud to the authorities in a Trumper state, maybe for putting up partitions that obscured the view of observers, to use as an example something recently mentioned. The authorities would investigate and most likely find nothing illegal or at least nothing indictable. If they did arrest someone, maybe there's really a crime and maybe he's really guilty in which case he should be punished. If they arrested him politically rather than because the arrest is legit, as you suggest, the press and the D's would be all over it. In any case, we'd have good information about whether or not there was significant fraud.
