Agree with the grumble... Hard to get past "what got us here"... and the obviousness of those wanting exactly what we have now... Which, unfortunately, doesn't come equipped with a means by which to put it all in reverse for a do over... Now what... thus requires dealing with the reality they've imposed... which mostly obviates prior history as the flow is unidirectional Still not ignoring that any solution... also has to address origins... But, to what end... when the definition of "winning" appears to be... starting it is the victory we needed... And, sustaining it is the victory we seek... Victory is defined as... perpetual war continues... Leaving Ukraine and Russia mired in "let's you and him fight"... on an open ended basis. Putin's health apparently failing... Biden is essentially already mostly dead... physically and politically... Likely to leave "bureaucracies" free to do as they will... "more"... until new leadership emerges... Stalemate still a better outcome than other potential alternatives... Social costs and transformations... required to overcome propaganda drivers that grip both sides... They got their damned war.... and appear to have no plan that extends beyond the getting of it... Other than keeping it.
