Reg -

Your right, but if your browser cannot automatically insert the % symbols, then you can't use my software, thus you are not part of my targeted audience. I noticed that NSCP has this problem, so I will look into it.

Please, Reg. Don't try to place your failure to adhere to the WWW RFCs on my usage of a different browser. I understand that you're not looking to capture the entire market, but you really should try to conform to the standards of the medium you're trying to use.

My god, there for a minute I thought you were going to say you were wrong. Never happen, though, even though you're obviously violating the standard, because everybody else is just using the wrong browser and/or operating system. Never mind that the standard in question was originally developed (on Unix) in order to allow PCs to use http, as they were lacking support for embedded spaces in filenames (which Unix didn't, and doesn't, lack) at the time.

I think that's very arrogant. Shun UNIX, fine, but if lots of people with Netscape browsers are having this problem (as you indicate), then you're making a mistake in not fixing the problem.
