Did you know that geothermal energy involves fracking? Fossil fuels are cheap and convenient and profitable for oil companies, but they come at a high cost to environment. So does everything else. Solar and wind need metals which are stripped from the earth, smelted, and shipped across the seas with their own environmental costs. They're profitable for mining companies or they wouldn't be mined.
