In his later years, Ali was most complimentary of Frazier. He said Frazier was "one hell of a man". No doubt, he was right.

He also said he never believed he was "the greatest of all times" "I was just trying to promote. I never really believed it" But he also said because of his "big mouth" it put pressure on him to produce and stay in the ring when many times he wanted to quit in tough fights. Frazier 3 was one of those. He said in the middle of that fight, he questioned "why he was even doing this".

Those three fights were some of the best contests ever in a heavyweight ring.
