Gee, you have only just now realized that? You were told that it had too broad of powers back then. But, because you thought it was only going to be used against Muslims, you were fine with it. Clamored for it, in fact. Like with the FISA courts. As long as the malefactors in your tribe are ignored, you are fine with the trammeling of rights.
