It was weird - like three digits got wiped off the value. I can't remember any more, but it didn't affect us. Using credit cards was okay also - seems like it worked in our favor to have a slight delay, but it made things more uncertain. There must have been a lot of flux in valuations at that time. My big culture shock was bartering. Haggling always seemed to settle on a price of 1/3 the initial ask. Soros types must have loved the flux. Feasting on chaos. Ever heard of a pip? Some people advocating for conflict are probably feasting on pips now. Change. Hope? Zero is his nickname.
