Telecoms. I've sold down my small position in CMCSA as stock has fallen. At current level I'm considering now adding more. I like how the theme parks are performing, back up to pre pandemc levels.

Morningstar•April 29, 2022Comcast Corporation: Despite Slowing Growth During Q1, We Believe Comcast Shares Are Deeply Undervalued SymbolsCMCSASector(s)Communication ServicesRatingCurrent Price$39.76Fair ValueEconomic MoatStewardshipSummaryComcast is made up of three parts. The core cable business owns networks capable of providing television, internet access, and phone services to roughly 61 million U.S. homes and businesses, or nearly half of the country. About 57% of the homes in this territory subscribe to at least one Comcast service. Comcast acquired NBCUniversal from General Electric in 2011. NBCU owns several cable networks, including CNBC, MSNBC, and USA, the NBC broadcast network, several local NBC affiliates, Universal Studios, and several theme parks. Sky, acquired in 2018, is the dominant television provider in the U.K. and has invested heavily in exclusive and proprietary content to build this position. The firm is also the largest pay-television provider in Italy and has a presence in Germany and Austria.

I'm still holding several of Malone's telecoms: LBRDK is there with Charter.

My largest holding in the sector is LUMN. Like a firefly to fire, the dividend distribution pulls me in.

========
This coming week is the week wife and I will cut the cable.

With Geek Squad advice and service, we got an over-the-air antenna, bought an Amazon Firestick DVR, and a modem enhancer, and then the Geek Squad tech came in to set it up.
The free streaming channels seem to offer the stations we want, but we found for some like CNBC, the stream is delayed. I can't abide seeing stocks and such delayed a couple of hours or more. So my wife looked around and we decided to pay for Sling to get CNBC live, and others also. I like that I can get all the Sling stations on my Mac, so that's like having a tv for use in my home office while I'm on the computer. Maybe Sling is also available on my phone?

I don't know if I'll be saving much money doing all this, but we'll try something different - it's definitely a learning experience for us: We are slowly progressing. Unlike cable, our Sling subscription is month-to-month, so it's not as big a financial commitment as would be with cable renewal.

Sling is owned by DISH. DISH stock looks cheap enough for me. So I bought a few shares now.

As I've said before, I've found it pays for me to buy stocks in the companies with which I do business, especially repeat business. It gives me an extra incentive to hold on to the stocks for longer term gains. jmo
