Yeah Jhild it's a great day...I'm posting on my breaks from bucking up the the trees and crap blown over in the yard. When we finally dry up a bit I get to go move a mini slide of dirt with my tractor. 20 cubic yards is all...glad I hadn't landscaped there yet. I can see a lake toward the mouth of the Salinas Valley...where there were fields yesterday. In 95 the Salinas flooded big time and it was on a day like this. It's a delayed effect because the valley is 100 miles long or so. The experts have it timed real well using their remote reporting rain gauges. They are very accurate telling us when, where and how high it will flood...so unlike a weatherperson. <g> Well back to the ole chain saw...it sounds like everyone around has one today.
