Wharfie, that's the thing about Cold War 2.0. You Democrats are reluctant to admit that it's already upon us, probably because you don't want to remind people how we won Cold War 1.0.

Let's say Zelensky actually wins and forces Russia completely out of Ukraine. That'd be the ideal scenario, right?

What happens after that? We start buying Russian oil again? We allow PooTin to rebuild his military, retrain his forces, and learn from his mistakes while we fail to learn from ours?

That's why we're in Cold War 2.0. NATO countries, including the U.S., will no doubt increase their military spending. A lot of forces will now be parked on Iron Curtain 2.0.

China of course will be paying attention and will ramp up their own military forces. That's going to set off alarm bells all across Asia. Korea, India, Pakistan, Japan, and of course Taiwan, will respond in kind.

It's a whole different world now. No longer is the biggest threat to civilization that climate changey thingy. Now we're back to fears over a nuclear holocaust.
