Highlights of the News

ITEM 1: New York Mayor Eric Adams wore an End Gun Violence tuxedo to the city's Met Gala.

I guess Push People In Front Of Subways violence and Knock Out Game violence are OK with the mayor, whose short reign has seen a return of 1980s-level violence in the City That Never Sleeps For Fear Of Being Mugged.ITEM 2: Politico reported, "The Supreme Court has voted to strike down the landmark Roe v. Wade decision, according to an initial draft majority opinion written by Justice Samuel Alito circulated inside the court."

Boom.

Roe v. Wade is aborted.

Chief Justice John Roberts cannot kill it because 5 are for overturning, 3 against.

A new era is about to dawn on this Republic. May the Good Lord be praised for delivering us from this evil.

Donald John Trump delivered!

However, many good conservatives wrung their hands over this opinion being leaked. Good grief, don't get so hung up on protocol. That is the court's problem, not ours.

Just celebrate for once in your life.

ITEM 3: The Wall Street Journal reported, "Food banks are straining to meet growing demand caused by rising food prices, which are pinching budgets for households and the organizations themselves.

"Forgotten Harvest, which serves the metro Detroit area, said demand increased 25% to 45% since December in different areas it serves. In March alone, demand rose 30% compared with the previous month."

Politics aside, inflation is a cruelty to the poor and lower middle class.

Sadly, its cure -- recession -- will hurt them even harder.

ITEM 4: Fox reported, "DeSantis accuses Disney of cozying up to CCP, making 'a fortune' without mentioning atrocities."

The governor said, "Disney has done a lot to partner with the Chinese Communist Party and has really made a fortune over there without raising a peep about any of their atrocities.

"I think China is the number one geopolitical threat that this country faces.

"I think that we need to have strong alliances with the Japanese, South Koreans, I think India needs to be in our orbit to try to check China's influence around the world, but particularly when you start talking about the Western Hemisphere, it's a big problem. It's not just South America, you see them in the Caribbean flexing their muscle."

That's a pretty good plan.

But I have a better plan. Take all these groomers that Disney supports and ship them over to Red China where they can teach Chinese boys they are girls and Chinese girls they are boys. Let's see how Chairman Xi likes it.

ITEM 5: Reuters reported, "Boston violated the free speech rights of a Christian group by refusing to fly a flag bearing the image of a cross at City Hall as part of a program that let private groups use the flagpole while holding events in the plaza below, the U.S. Supreme Court unanimously ruled on Monday.

"The 9-0 decision, authored by liberal Justice Stephen Breyer, overturned a lower court's ruling that the rejection of Camp Constitution and its director Harold Shurtleff did not violate their rights to freedom to speech under the U.S. Constitution's First Amendment. President Joe Biden's administration backed Camp Constitution in the case."

Boston was OK with the LGBT flag.

Groomers gotta groom.

ITEM 6: Fox reported, "New York Times reporter Jonathan Martin seemed highly skeptical President Biden will run for reelection in 2024 despite multiple assurances that he will seek a second term.

"On Monday, Martin and Times colleague Alexander Burns appeared on The View to promote their politically-buzzed book This Will Not Pass, which has made major headlines about the turbulent final weeks of the Trump presidency and the behind-the-scenes drama among Democrats, including tensions between Team Biden and Team Kamala Harris."

Team Kamala?

Team Kamala has more turnovers than a bakery shop. There is no Team Kamala. There is her, a bong and a nervous cackle.

ITEM 7: The Daily Wire reported, "Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich said on Sunday that Republicans could pick up as many as 70 seats in the House of Representatives after the 2022 midterm elections.

"Gingrich shared the prediction during an interview on Fox News’ Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo.

"'I think we’ll pick up between 25 and 70 seats in the House. We’ll probably pick up about four seats in the Senate,' Gingrich said."

He knows this stuff. He is a historian and a politician. A 70-seat pickup would be the best showing by either party since 1932. It would give Republicans 282 House members -- the most in a century.

I am all in with Newt on this one. This election could reverse the polarity of American politics for the next 50 years.

ITEM 8: AP reported, "California's population declined again in 2021 for the second consecutive year, state officials said Monday, the result of a slowdown in births and immigration coupled with an increase in deaths and people leaving the state.

"With an estimated 39,185,605 residents, California is still the U.S.'s most populous state, putting it far ahead of second-place Texas and its 29.5 million residents. But after years of strong growth brought California tantalizingly close to the 40 million milestone, the state's population is now roughly back to where it was in 2016 after declining by 117,552 people this year.

"California's population growth had been slowing even before the pandemic as baby boomers' aged, younger generations were having fewer children and more people were moving to other states. But the state's natural growth — more births than deaths — and its robust international immigration had been more than enough to offset those losses."

It is political alchemy.

Democrats have turned the Golden State into lead.

ITEM 9: National Pulse reported, "The natural immunity provided by COVID-19 infection in unvaccinated adults is on par with protection conferred from vaccines against reinfection with or hospitalization from the virus, a new study reveals. Immunity from COVID-19 was also shown to persist longer than vaccine-induced immunity."

Duh.

ITEM 10: Discovery will soon run CNN.

The Nightly News With RuPaul will rule, won't it?

ITEM 11: Darvio Morrow, CEO of FBC Radio, wrote, "The Democrat Party has a huge problem. For decades now, they have been hemorrhaging white rural and working class voters to the Republicans, a trend they have managed to offset with super majorities of voters of color. This was the basis of the Emerging Majority theory popular in Democrat circles just a few years ago, which posited that as America became less and less white, it would become more and more firmly attached to the Democrat Party.

"The problem with this theory is that it relied the premise that minorities were going to remain solid Democrats. And that premise is turning out to be false. What we’re seeing today is that working class Hispanic voters and conservative Black voters are a lot more like their white counterparts than anyone in the Democrat Party had bargained for. And that spells serious trouble for the Left."

You know, not long ago, Democrats were the party of white, rural America. Democrats took them for granted, as they now take black voters for granted.

'Tis the hist'ry of the party.

ITEM 12: The New York Post reported, "A man who lost his penis due to a severe blood infection has had an artificial member surgically attached to his nether region — six years after it was designed by doctors."

People noticed he was growing a penis on his arm. He said, "People ask me about it when they see me in the pub, and of course people make jokes. But I get it. It’s not every day you see a man with a penis on his arm. Of course, I see the funny side. I have to. I don’t have any other option."

The good news is the doctors enabled him to have sex with his new appendage.

And it is bigger.

ITEM 13: Tampa Free Press reported, "A poll released Thursday by The Federalist and Susquehanna Polling drew attention for noting that President Joe Biden’s approval rating had dropped to a lowly 39%, and that Republicans hold a 10-point advantage over Democrats on the generic congressional ballot."

The big news was: "61% strongly supported laws such as Florida’s Parental Rights in Education law, while support overall reached 70%.

"In contrast, just 11% strongly opposed such measures, while total opposition stood at 23%."

Democrats can win. They simply have to stop grooming kids.

ITEM 14: Fox reported, "Florida mom filing suit after child transitioned at school without her consent: 'Happening all over' U.S.

"January Littlejohn is suing her daughter's school after it held secret gender talks without parental knowledge or consent."

They are pedophiles.

Only pedophiles have children keep secrets from their parents.

ITEM 15: The WaPo reporter who outed the woman behind the Libs of TikTok Twitter account seems to be having a rough time of it.

Let us review: Lorenz went on TV and broke down crying as she claimed to be harassed online.

Then she harassed a woman online through her report on Libs of TikTok.

Then she said an editor at the Drudge Report was harassing her.

Then she said that was a joke.

Lorenz needs to take a timeout from her journalistic career and get her act together.

ITEM 16: Ari Fleischer reported, "In a little over six months, Republicans will likely win the House and the Senate. As important as Election Day 2022 will be, what happens the next day will be more significant.

"That’s the day the Democrats will turn on President Biden. It’s the day that the whispering campaign among Democrats about whether a soon-to-be 80-year-old man is in good enough health, politically and cognitively, to be the man at the top of the ticket in 2024, will burst into the open.

"It’s inevitable. The stop Biden drumbeat will grow every day, whether it takes weeks or a few months, until Biden acknowledges reality and declares he will not run for re-election."

We shall see, of course, but Fleischer may be onto something.

FINALLY, they seem sane.

"Ever notice how many Disney flicks kill off the parents?"

This makes the point hilariously: youtube.com
