Fernando,
MCI charges only $14.95 per month for internet access (if you use them for long distance). I cannot imagine why people would stick to AOL, especially considering their service is so lousy.

I agree that AOL's service is lousy, but MCI at $14.95 per month unlimited access primarily competes against the local ISP providers not AOL. They may still bring their own ISP and get unlimited service for $9.95 a month at AOL. The main problem in using AOL is that it is still so slooow that while waiting for a page to load you can go make a sandwich or walk your dog. AOL is still being propped up by new people to the net who like my neighbor finally got a local ISP because it took hours to do anything on AOL. This lack of speed will catch up with them eventually and burst their bubble. The only question is when will the bubble burst. It takes real guts to short it right now. (Pancho knows)

Ted
