The VIX full stochs are turning down from overbought. The last two times it did this in this general area on the indicator was early Dec. 2021 and late Jan. 2022. Both times the VIX dropped around 50% from the spike high to the lows over around 2-1/2 to 3-weeks.

I think we could see the same going into late May:
