Go ahead .. pretend you can judge scriptural knowledge. I happen to know a real live Messianic Jew. He's a former pawnbroker that lost his shop due to selling hot merchandise. He went to jail for it. He buys business equipment and fixed it up and sells it privately. His wife and some of his relatives are Orthodox affiliated with the Habad synagogues. Their oldest son converted to Islam. That kid didn't want to be a Jew and was looking for something weird to convert to. Also looking for a religion that he thought would get him a wife (unfortunate in the looks category). Didn't work ( the Muslims all hated him and none of them would arrange a marriage for him) and I don't know if he's stuck with the Islam thing. The younger daughters were sent to NY to orthodox schools. Lesson: Real people are mixed up and don't base their religious choices on scripture teachings.
