Monsieur France,

>>FYI...I am nor whinning. I am stating the facts.

Strange way of whi....sorry, stating the facts.

Pleading for news or other mysterious "force" to levitate the price of FTEL on an Internet board, will not succeed in its desired effect.

In spite of all the positive features of this, and other boards, it is still full of raving lunatics, as we have recently witness, the market and its mood will affect said price in a more accurate way.

One must OBSERVE such price action, among many other considerations and subjects of study.

The first thing one must accomplish is to establish a plan, then have the discipline to execute it. Buy sell or hold. It is actually quite simple once you master the discipline of self-control.

>> When did we get an uptick that was enough to cause some excitement?? A long time ago, right.

Jan 8, I forget the news, it is on file.

Then Feb 3, 1998. Reason? the news about the China phone call. (I think, it is on file), it is irrelevant.

The real question is, under what philosophy did you invest, short, medium, long term ?

Next, is what percentage gain do you feel your risk should be compensated with.
Now, careful here, you must be honest, you know what happens to pigs...

Once you have answer those questions, then YOU can answer the final one,
do I sell, hold, or buy more.

In addition, you must also determine your opportunity cost... say what?

That is, ALTERNATIVELY, what possible gain can I obtain investing somewhere else. In this question you should, (this depends on the individual), also include certain personal characteristics, such as tolerance to risk, tolerance to watch your money dwindle to half, or whatever, while OTHER investment is/could be doing better. In other words in which other way you could have profited by putting your money somewhere else, including the peace of mind by not being invested in FTEL.

>>Am I not right that the PR company has not really done much for our beloved FTEL?

Two very basic errors here, first, let time pass, indeed the PR firm has JUST been hired, give them time, in fact a blitz of press releases could actually hinder FTEL, if these announcements are seen as "promotional" rather than factual announcements.

Understand that by now, most "expectations" have been discounted by the market, what is left are the results of evaluations, and indeed some orders.

But one must be patient, as smarter minds than mine have said, "Rome was not built in a day"

In addition, the function of a big PR firm happens behind the scenes, by the time the "press release" comes out it is hoped that the bases are loaded and the home run will yield 4 runs, rather than a single run. So be patient, you should be happy that a pro-PR firm is on board.

Second, beloved FTEL ?? say what... this item is covered in the basic rules of investment 101, section 253, sub-section 4

Rule # 1.- DO NOT FALL IN LOVE WITH A STOCK, ANY STOCK.

Rule # 2.- DO NOT FORGET RULE # 1.

>>Not that I know of anyway...

Well, then , what is it that you know....

>>I suggest you look at the charts to see the trend of this one!

O.K. I am looking at it, an this is what is telling me:

But first, penny stocks, are STORY stocks, ANY chart analysis, or TA study will be rendered IRRELEVANT, in the face of factual and potent news.

Having said that, we still need some kind of,... well map, to "chart" the course (sorry no pun intended).

And so to the question at hand, what does the chart tell me?

On a daily chart:

First, you are correct we are in a down trend as of 2-5-98, based on the Directional Movement Index (DMI), however, while such is the fact,

The Average Directional Index (ADX), turned downwards at the same time, meaning giving less validity to the above signal. the level of the adx line is at around 20 or so.

In this particular indicator (ADX), which is more of a trend identifier, and so, more of a long term indicator, it is ideal (for a signal to be given either buy or sell), that the line be above the level 40 (in its own scale).

In addition, the slow stochastic seems to be oversold.

Price level support, has been broken which it was at $4.796, next stop is $3.834, and from there at $3.065, from there, who knows?

Price is below 14 days ($4.933) , 50 days ($4.916), but 200 days average ($4.087), as of today, barely above.

On a WEEKLY chart, the picture is similar, and as of today a little uglier, support was broken at $4.72.

The DMI/ADX indicators on the weekly basis, have recently signaled a change in trend to a "down" trend.

What does the above gibberish gubla means?

In general, the price is sick and it could be going further down.

Does that mean we are in trouble and FTEL is headed for bankruptcy ?

Bankruptcy, I do not think so, at least for the next (plus or minus) 2 years or may be even more, given the current "burn rate" (for cash not witches).

Are the shareholders in trouble? that depends, if you are margined (based on other stocks in your portfolio), and you are about to get a margin call, or you used the rent/mortgage money to buy more FTEL (greedy, greedy), the answer is yes.

So again, the problem lies not in the damn PR firm not releasing the magic home-run, nor in the evil sons of satan otherwise known as market makers, nor in the slick, gigolo CEO of FTEL, who has a secret passage out of head quarters in Westlake, directly to a secret airport where a fully fuelled and ready pilot to evaporate him to the Turks and Caicos islands where he already has a numbered bank account full of money formerly belonging to those poor souls, citizens of the U S of A, "stupid investors" (a.k.a. suckers).

The real problem of your discomfort lies perhaps in the fact that YOU, (for whatever reason best known to you), are not prepared to withstand the gyrations of a penny-stock.

Answer the above question, take the appropriate action, and stop whi...(sorry), stating the facts.

Now, I will repeat, just in case there are some people out there with DAD (Deficit Attention Disorder), all of the above TA, Chart witchery and the like WILL be rendered IRRELEVANT, if the bases loaded home-run PR announcement is released.

>>And also FYI....I will sell when I say sell. Not when you or anyone else proposes it!

Well, EXCUUUSE ME, boy you are sensitive, (not good for putting money in stock, is it?).

>>Have a nice evening. Hope we go UP tomorrow. That would be a welcome change, wouldn't it??

Yes, I agree, no hard feelings, but really, stop whi.. (sorry) stating facts.
