I should add that I wouldn't choke down a Pizza Hut pan or any other Pizza Hut pizza if someone gave it to me....unless I was in Asia.

Uno's is not bad. I used to make my own pizza. I am good with the standard marinara sauce, but when I want to make something different, I use sourdough and pesto, along with eggplant, caramelized onions, and other Mediterranean ingredients. For the best results, you have to (at least partially) pan fry some of the toppings before putting the pizza in the oven. Recently I discovered an Indian pizza near us. It was originally Italian. The new owner kept the most popular pizzas and added half a dozen Desi pizzas. A lot of people really like that. And it is done with the marinara sauce, so if pesto is not your thing, then I can send you his recipes.
