If you want to knead the dough, whether for baking cakes or making bread, then you should get a kitchenaid. Get the ones with 5 attachments. That is the most cost efficient way of doing it. Alternatively, if bread is the only part you care for, then you may be able to get it cheaper as bread maker. I've never tried it, but I suspect you can just use it to make dough without baking the bread.

But the simplest thing is to just buy the dough. Ask your local pizza place for some. Or get it from Costco.
