First, it is illogical.

"Gender is a social construct"

"I don't feel like I belong to my assigned gender"

"I need to change my sex to match my felt gender"

Acknowledging that they biologically feel like a different SEX and need to change their SEX is acknowledging the basic fundamental that gender has basis in biology and is not a social invention.

Gender roles vary at the margins between cultures, but there has never been any culture, anywhere, that confused a man for a woman or vice versa. It is insanity.
