<If IBM went into a no-holds barred software giveaway with your Master>

Watch your mouth..

<Who's going to want a 300 MHz has-been server when they can get 1GHz of cutting-edge silicon running Rhapsody.>

Everybody who has a hard drive full of Office documents and who did not buy Alpha running at 500 MHz but instead bought Pentiums.

<Free Lotus SmartSuite or MS-Office at $500? Let the consumer decide which is "more" innovative.>

They already have. Corel Office upgrade for $99 and MSFT Office upgrade for $300. Who is bleeding red ink?

Norm, if you really believe any of the stuff you just posted, you should check yourself into an institution. :)

1gHz? Not for a long time; it was just for show&tell--Intel could have done the same with a Merced prototype if they really wanted. Rhapsody? Who cares!?!!?
