Ken, I have a question that I've been wanting to ask about the trade sizes, sometimes I'll see a trade go by(on level II)that wouldn't cost 5$ ie. 2000@ .002,whats going on there, are MMs just evening up the trade sheet so all is accounted for at the end of the day? I see this quite a lot on smaller stocks,is it book keeping or some kind of trick? not suspisious, just curious. Thanks,G.D.

Ken,

You may have covered the subject of options in daytrading before or maybe someone else has and I overlooked the post. I have a related question anyway since option related questions have come up from time to time in my little investment club--

As I study some of the trading techniques on some of the other threads, I notice that some of the other proficient quick turnaround traders are using options in day trading. Have you tried integrating options into your trading or do you have an opinion as to whether this is something that carries undo risk vs. the potential reward? My guess is that the setup is more difficult which may make it more risky for some not so skilled. If you have experience in option trading could you suggest some strategies that might apply to Momentum Daytrading?

Thanks in advance,

Marlin
