Mike and All: One puzzling question, a bet and a survey:

1. All the news today seem to pretty obviously indicate that the numbers tomorrow should be not just bad but awful. However, how do we explain the price move today? Is AOL one of the extremely few examples of a leak proof ship when itr comes to earnings announcements? Is the CFO still fudging the numbers?

2. My own bet is that there is a better than a 60% chance that numbers will be below expectations [and that despite this the stock will go up tomorrow? the bet on sotck direction is more challenging: AOL goes up no matter what, particularly after the cute old lady recommending it on WSW last Friday]

3. Just would like to take a survey to see how many people numbers may be bad despite the price run of the last 2-3 weeks and all the fantastik news today.
