Overlooking the obvious, that each such transaction represents one buyer and one seller, you kinda have to squint and eyeball the prices and the volumes to get a rough idea.


For instance, the large transaction at 4:16 I would reckon is a sale, because somebody dumped a large number and the price went down, only to come right back up again on the next transaction, which was a more normal-sized one. Similarly with the large transaction at 4:18.


However I would classify the transaction at 4:37 as a buy because the price went up -- the buyer wanted it bad enough to pay more than the previous price for it.


Again, much of this is like reading the entrails of a chicken in order to predict the weather tomorrow.
