Don, RCN is installing AT&T fiberspeed in NY/NJ by march for 34.99 a month.

Direct cable line runs right into the box. Quick off the top of my square head comparison. <g>

My current costs
1)ISP $20.00
2)Calling plan* $15.00

Extra fee I pay for unlimited regional calling plan for dial up access. BellAtlantic/Nynex would charge 8-10c each additional minute if I did not do so. I estimate the extra cost at 10-15. The need for this service would be eliminated with high speed connection.

Therefore my costs would stay the same and my service would improve 100 fold- you have to love technology.

Good to see you around, ISP is a $10 a month market IMO.

Don...

>>IMO, AOL is one more thing for the YHOO longs to get worried about.<<

Or Visa-versa.

In addition, AOL, YHOO, XCIT, etc should worry about MSFT.
