I have to state that this stock does seem undervalued by the market at just under $15 and tried unsucessfully to buy today. One big problem seems to be the large number of shares being shorted. Any idea as to how low the stock has to go before they start covering positions. If there are millions of shares shorted where do they think the shares are going to come from to cover their positions. If a short squeeze is coming it might be a great time to buy stock.

Gary,

in reply to this and yr follow-up today:

now if CFO Yntema could somehow be induced to
provide the date range of the buy-back trades ...

i was watching it stuck at 15 and thought it strange,
but foolish me was expecting to sell everything at 16,
and had a GTC order in to that effect. Did not fill.
Stock went back to doghouse at 10 after that, with just
a few weak/short rallies since.

anyway, i confess here/now that i am no longer a VVUS
shareholder, having unloaded the last of my shares
at 12 last Thursday, April 2. And i know that that
was the high for the day; i just lucked out and
Waterhouse filled my limit order at 10:36 AM, certainly
nothing to complain about there!

So (as a bull turned bear) i have something to throw
out. Just *imagine* what would happen if some VVUS
insiders *sold* shares at 15; at the same time
the co. was supporting the price with buys ...
Pure fantasy!--remember, my new career is fiction writer.

Don't flame me--you'll be sorry.

Cheers,

David
