Bertrand Russell forgets one thing - while Lenin did write maybe thousands of articles and dozens of books - including on philosophy - he was not really into theories, he was a researcher - he was interested in how to better screw off the heads of his political opponents. He was a bloody brutal revolutionary - and in 1920 he was busy fighting a war on multiple fronts - while building a repressive government of a huge country - while also practicing Red Terror (meaning, killing off real and potential opposition). And - Lenin never meant for the peasants to own land - that was a promise he never intended to keep, it was pure propaganda. So, my guess is, he honestly laughed at Prof. Russel’s naïveté.

The guy was as smart as they come - but a focused bloody bastard.

The most rotten of the socialists were from the Fabian Society.

British bastards, bloodless, lifeless tax prosperity to hell bureaucrats

Immediately upon its inception, the Fabian Society began attracting many prominent contemporary figures drawn to its socialist cause, including George Bernard Shaw, H. G. Wells, Annie Besant, Graham Wallas, Charles Marson, Sydney Olivier, Oliver Lodge, Ramsay MacDonald and Emmeline Pankhurst. Even Bertrand Russell briefly became a member, but resigned after he expressed his belief that the Society's principle of entente (in this case, between countries allying themselves against Germany) could lead to war.

Lenin = Much like Harpie Hillary = "We Came, We Saw, He Died ... cackle cackle cackle".
And vicious Victoria Nuland.
And a lot more besides.
