Gemini, have you never had a halt on news in any stock you've ever owned? It happens all the time. Why would the market collapse if a company has trading halted because of news? Of course, the order imbalances occurr BECAUSE of the news, so maybe this is just semantics. FDA approvals are a classic news reason for halting a stock.

Allan: wrong again. They haled trading because the news had to get out before trading could continue. I agree with you in most cases, but not here.
