John, be sure you check your VISA statement. AOL will keep billing you even after you have cancelled. My friend had to cancel her card just to get AOL to stop billing her.

Good idea. But it is probably wiser to do it at the end of February if they will charge you for the whole month [This is how I timed my move to internet MCI]. this way will have plenty of time to tell your friends to catch you in a place like Yahoo once your email address at AOL goes black.
