Rick, I understand your concern about the IT placements but... The point is, there is no lack of jobs for these people.. but there is a lack of PEOPLE who can do it. I have heard this for months, especially re: the Y2K problem and computer science majors in general. There was a 4 minute report on NBC Nightly News tonight about the problem. Individual companies are recruiting everywhere! They are on the web, they are posting ads in the weirdest places, they are desperate! Some are bringing in workers from overseas (India was a hot spot) because the US just doesnt have qualified workers. So while I see your point and it would be wonderful if FAMH could get 500 IT workers to come contract with them, lets get realistic. If Im an IT worker I can walk into any co. myself and get the red carpet treatment, and even leverage one co. against the other & not bother with a "middle man" (a placement agency). And another point is, a startup or "less known" agency such as Firamada is the LAST place I would go to (vs a BIG NAME placing agency) for this sort of thing. Id go with someone with a national or at least strong regional presence or a strong COMPUTER presence with ESTABLISHED connections. Im sorry but FAMH doesnt have any of those.. they are just sticking their toes in the water of this industry .. So yes, I agree with you.. it would be a godsend if they could send out 500 workers to Wall Street tommorow.. but lets be somewhat realistic about the circumstances. Firamada doesnt operate in a vacuum. P.S. Im very troubled about the PR guy saying "they have no idea when the financials will be out" because according to many posters Ira said he is "shooting for the 1st week of Feb". So if he had a target date of the 1st week and was even off a week or two, that is ok.. but now they have "no idea" ?? I wont take anything on this board for face value anymore but if someone else calls Rob (PR man) and confirms this "no idea" that is very worrisome. Mark
