That VIX compression pattern on the full stochs hourly is failing. I have to stop using indicators on the VIX like that.

But do you see how every time it is outside of the channel we have a reversal? What I really want is a big jump out of the channel to a get a decent reversal. If it does that, the short covering alone will push NQ up at least 1000 points. On the other hand, if we come to grind, it could take a couple of years to get a new bull market. Here's the 10 year version of the same chart with different indicators. When you look at RSI or %BB, we are as low as ever. But we just haven't had that sharp vertical drop that has marked previous major reversals. I hate wars of attrition! .
