There are still those who say, "Hell, it is cancer. Get it out." They are mostly surgeons. But the well-informed patients recognize there are risks associated with surgery and the medical community as a whole has determined that when surgery doesn't provide a better result, you go with the modern alternative. In the event a Plan B or other emergency contraceptive fails, perhaps an abortion makes sense and that option needs to be there. And it is. It is a bizarre argument.
