Cosmo,

I was a RT subscriber for 4 months... and the data was no better than the free IT service. From what I can see, there has been no progress in S/W or data quality since last summer.

Cosmo,
Yes blow off steam if you like, but the reason IT (free) gets minimal improvement is that Papyrus is NOT a revenue generating site on the Web. If you checkout PCquotes delayed service, there are banners flying all over the place generating ad revenue. These banners take up valuable screen space and reduce the performance of your browser and the browser's ability to deliver data. Thus the reason why IT and RTIT seems to be the only streaming quote service that can deliver over 100 quotes continuously all day, albeit with delays, built in, internet created or source created.

Every service that attempts to come even close to this level of real time delivery ranges in price from $80-300/month.

Ed

That's cool Cosmos, I couldn't tell if you were with me or against me.
You probably have a good point. When I started with IT it was free realtime and worked almost as good as the 300 dollar permonth bmi service I had at the time. I ran both programs on 2 seperate computers. bmi Was satillite and IT was of course on the internet. IT was so good that I dropped bmi and just used IT. I don't understand why it's not as good as it was then. I don't daytrade anymore so I just use IT delayed and get realtime one at time through my National discount Brokers online trading station for free. If I was going to trade everyday like before I'd have to go to back to a high dollar service. But I won't do that again because I don't enjoy lossing my money. I have only the highest respect for anyone who actually makes money trading.
I only need end of the day quotes most of the time so it's not so critical as to how well IT works.
