I haven't seen this show but it seems to me there is quite an effort by amateurs who don't understand the concepts involved to disparage the methodology. I'm not sure that's warranted.

IIRC, modern cell phones are able to pinpoint location quite closely by combining available signal sources. And all iPhones since at least iPhone 6 have had GPS chips in them. This is likely getting coordinates a lot closer than the "100 meters" the news organizations seem to be claiming.

If someone is driving to within a couple meters to one of these drop boxes on a routine basis and stopping for a minute, the suggestion would be strong. OTOH, just driving by is meaningless.

I guess you have to pay D'Souza some amount of money to know precisely what they're doing. I'm not interested enough to do that just yet.
