Clearly, you bought the bullshit from Bentway's post. Hopefully, you realize that book was never used by anyone to teach about electricty.

I used to frequently work at Baptist Hospital's professional offices in Arkansas. One of the tenants there, a customer of mine, was an abortion provider, where a lone picketer stood for years holding a sign that every car pulling into the complex could read. But the other offices there that I worked in had strong religious overtones, one even a wall placard I remember that condemned abortion.

I do not get how a pro-abortion argument today is a conscientious one unless it is one of the few borne of medical necessity.

Unless one just denies the scientific fact that life begins at conception. Perhaps it does see or feel or exist on its own. But it does exist and should be treated with a modicum of respect. That's not to say that an unexpected pregnancy can't fuck up the life of the mother, and that the life of the mother isn't more important at times.

But I'm not sure abortion as a matter of convenience is an easy argument to make. At the same time, very early abortions are far more tolerable to many than waiting until 18 or 20 weeks.
