Alex, This must be an after dinner meeting at the water hole! I was at CompUSA over the weekend and Quake II is still selling strongly. Zork GI actually is selling well too...the old stuff is gone replaced by new boxes with special promotions on them. Heavy Gear will have some nice OEM sales bundled with the Monster II that you mentioned last time. Battlezone is GREAT. Nitro is GREAT. Shanghai getting great reviews, but not much publicity. MW2 still selling well. Pitfall coming out. Expansions for Dark Reign and Hexen II, Quake II. Lots and Lots of revenues coming. Even if QII was a one time thing....(ATVI may very well get Trinity when it comes out in 1999)...I think there is a heck of a lot of potential here. As far as TA goes...You know, I have been investing for a long time strictly by fundamental analysis...and it has been working just fine for me. The problem is that I used to arrive to the party way too early and then I'd get stuck with dead money for a couple of years. I used to do my own charts but it just got too tedious after a while. Then with the advent of the Internet and all of these great sites, charts, info....amazing, amazing stuff out there... I've been dabbling with TA for the last year and a half and testing things out. I can't say that I'm good at it yet, but I'm getting better. Candlestick patterns, TA indicators and the whole gamut. You know, I used to think TA was worthless...you know...you can't time the market. But for sure, it works a lot of the time and it's helped me call the top and bottom of many stocks. Just don't use it to trade short term options....it'll drive you crazy....much to stressful! I hope things are well with you! Download the demos....they are amazing! Tom C.
