Dale, I hope you realize that there are about 70 Millions units of computer sold in 1997 and this figure increase by double digit every year. Forget about all the existing floppy drives installed, it only takes 2 months to sell more than 12M floppy drives! >> With 12 million units out there, compatibility is now more than ever a major competitive issue. The bottom line here IMO is that the Zip simply has too far a headstart for Sony to catch up. << aC
