QCOM Made the February 11th issue of the S&P 'The Outlook' list of "Attractive Takeover Candidates"..."The companies in the accompanying table are considered prime acquisition targets. Even if they are not taken over, our analysts believe the stocks will do well over the long term." QCOM has 5 STARS and a P/E based on forward earnings of 22.4. "Company's proprietary wireless telephone offers excellent technology, which would be attractive to a larger company. Stock's valuation is attractive after recent fall."

>...introduce him to the Extreme Sport of Tree Skiing?... the SI thread will throw in a Q phone so you can stay in touch...<

Funny you should mention that, Mike. I was somewhat reluctantly dragged up to a double black diamond ballbuster that basically consisted of a cliff populated by about a million christmas trees. When we got off the top-most lift on the mountain, the maniac leading this charge pointed uphill at a cluster of communications gear perched a couple hundred vertical feet above us and indicated we would be hiking up the rest of the way. This elicited a few choice comments from yours truly, but nothing to match the stream of invective that I reserved for him when I saw what we would be er... skiing down. As I jumped off into the abyss the last thought I had was "shoot, I sure wish I brought my Q-phone. One of those dishes has got to be Sprint PCS"

Trust me, the sphincter got plenty of exercise on that particular run.
