Well, twister, I guess Mitsubishi doesn't see much future in it; they announced today they were suspending Alpha development. Somehow I suspect they're a little closer to the facts than you are. See:

BTW, just what is "Windows NT-based hardware architecture" other than gibberish describing vaporware? Did you write this yourself?

And farther down, I guess "heterogeneous environments" refers to combinations of the various flavors of Windows? (none of which, IMHO, work particularly well together at present -- others seem to agree, as evidenced by:

From this post I do gain comfort that when "all is said and done" (whenever that is) this DEC/NT thing will be able to do what Sun does now. The only problem is, does it take into account what Sun will be doing when DEC/NT can do what Sun does now?
