I favor enough tax revenue to pay for what we spend except during wars and recessions. As you know, republican presidents cut taxes and then have recessions so they're doubling down on being dumb. When the economy is growing we need to increase taxes and undo some of the debt from the spending. To undo the debt created by this fiscally conservatives insanity we'd need a $1 trillion dollar tax increase every year for 30 years and even that wouldn't work. It'd have to go for 40 or 50 years. Republicans destroyed the US. They don't know it yet but their children will see it.
