This week in gold the commercials decreased their short position and increased their long position which is usually a bullish indicator. In silver Ed Steer concludes the situation is "wildly bullish". If you look at the Managed Money category in the disaggregated report, you will see they reduced their short position. He explains the whys in his weekly column.
