Kids are up to it, then you have confidence in your natural abilities -g- Then we get older and frailer. I reminded today of this speech by Jimmy Reid on Alienation. Circa 1972. I remember as a kid seeing the horror of the Vietnam war on TV, and was comforted when the Cold War with Russia thawed a bit and both Russian and USA astronaughts flew together. What happened since then? If the USA won anything in Vietnam after all these years, it was with their kindness and democracy, not their weapons imho. The MSM just could not wait and fall over themselves with enthusiasm to get the war in the Ukraine started. Where was the critical hand of peace? There should have been a steady public pressure on a Ukraine peace intiative since things got out of hand in 2014. It wasn't it was buried and that suited our leaders. I like Sense's comparison of Fiat with Crypto. Crypto mimicing the weaknesses of Fiat. On one hand we have LUNA and Terra USD, and on ther other we have the USD and NASDAQ and DOW. If the Market differs from expected level of wealth generation, mint USD's to equalise. -g- There are reports of a debt crisis that is steering on our way on a constant bearing, looking like an inevitiable collision. When mega SHTF the fear will be such that straws will be grasped at, only then our very best ideas tried in earnest. Crypto could be one of them. Many people around the world do not have bank accounts. Maybe the best idea they never had. They do all have phones though, and only by good communication, good will, and good governance, will things like the 1930's type depression be shortened or averted. Not sure a decent roadmap is in place yet. Regarding health, I think the WHO should be disbanded. They are utterly corrupt and of no use to human kind, along with all the money spinning ideas they have dreamed up. They have alienated themselves from the human race. Oh look, UK did not even finish last... and we even got some votes...!
